About Heart Medway

HeART Medway is a not-for-profit community organisation aiming to develop and raise awareness of local heritage through arts in the Medway area. The group’s activities are designed to engage with the local community and aim to intensify people’s experiences of their surroundings and enhance their appreciation of the local heritage.

The group aims to:

• Initiate, support and devise events, education programmes and special projects that support local heritage.
• Coordinate and raise the profile of arts and heritage events in the area.
• Develop new and maintain existing audiences for arts and heritage events.
• Maintain effective communication with artists and heritage professionals who live and/or work in the area.
• Support local artists and heritage professionals to participate in the projects in the area.
